Synopsis:
Dexter is serial thriller that tells the story of a strange man named Dexter Morgan. four years and harboring a traumatic secret, Dexter is adopted by Harry Morgan, a Miami police officer, who knows Dexter's homicidal tendencies and teaches his son to channel his gruesome passion for human dissection, and devoted to a much more constructive, and to know to cover their tracks and do not leave evidence of their actions.
Due to its profile of a respected member of the police force, a perfect gentleman and gentle with children, Dexter is a person who is hard not to want. And although his tendency to kill is unflinching, tries hard to simulate normal emotions and keep up appearances of a human being socially responsible and communicative, to helping his relationship with Rita Bennett, a woman who is slowly recovering from the brutal rape she suffered by her ex-husband, and tries to start a new relationship with Dexter, but does not know the hobbies you have in your time free.
Meanwhile, her co-workers have different perspectives and opinions on Dexter and his strange personality. Debra Morgan Dexter's adoptive sister, a police desperate to be transferred to the homicide department. He is very intelligent, very unsure of her ability, which often rely heavily on the "experience" of Dexter to solve their most difficult cases.
Angela Batista is a homicide detective who works closely with Dexter during the day and although it does not share his fascination for blood, if you notice the art of death itself. Lt. Maria Laguerta is a sensible woman who enjoys making subordinates look bad. No hidden, however, his attraction to Dexter, who constantly flirts, unfortunately for him. Finally, Sergeant Doakes is the only man in the police who do not like Dexter. The seemingly innocent forensic puts the nerves, and his passion for blood is appalled, but what really bothers him more is that Dexter is usually right when it comes to solving cases that fall into their hands.
